Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience
- Minimum of 7 years in systems build/implementation per engineering drawings, schematics or wire diagrams
- Detail oriented and organized
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and ability to perform point-to-point wiring
- Ability to work in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Assembly of automated test systems, test fixtures, cables, harnesses, and PCB assemblies
- Logical layout and design of electrical shelfs / panels
- Provide technical assistance and collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems before, during and after assembly
- Modify prototypes, parts, assemblies, and systems to correct defects
- Test completed assemblies to ensure proper operation
- Obtain and/or maintain the following IPC certifications: J-STD-001 specialist, IPC-A-610 specialist, and IPC-A-620 specialist
- Follow and maintain company documentation standards
- Maintain and improve company quality processes
- Maintain inventory and maintenance of company tools
- Assure a clean and safe work environment
- Promote company goals and encourage continuous improvement through participation, teamwork and quality
- Occasionally assist with shipping and receiving, maintenance of job materials, and facility maintenance
