WINDSOR, CT – January 7, 2019 – Bloomy Controls Inc. (Bloomy) has successfully completed their annual ISO 9001:2015 assessment through an independent external audit by the American Systems Registrar, a certification body accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board. The audit verified compliance of Bloomy's quality management system (QMS), which guides its design, manufacture and provision of services for automated test, data acquisition and control systems, to the ISO 9001:2015 QMS Standard.
The external audit spanned Bloomy’s three facilities located in Windsor, Conn.; Marlborough, Mass.; and Paramus, N.J., and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to continuous process improvement and consistent delivery of products and services that meet or exceed customer requirements.
In 2018, Bloomy significantly upgraded and streamlined its quality system and documentation in preparation for major improvements in all of the company’s business processes. This effort, led by Paul Oei, Bloomy vice president of operations and Six Sigma Master Black Belt, will enable Bloomy to increase its capacity to design and manufacture complex automated test equipment.
"Bloomy’s core processes are excellent," says Louis Hannigan, auditor from American Systems Registrar. "That, in combination with diligent and dedicated employees, makes for a very effective quality system."
"Passing the ISO 9001:2015 annual assessment audit is a critical milestone for Bloomy and demonstrates total alignment of our business with the standards," says Oei. "The effectiveness of our quality infrastructure and our total commitment across the organization toward our quality policy and goals will enable us to further enhance Bloomy’s reputation for delivering high-quality automated test equipment products and services."
