Requirements
- BS in engineering or science, MBA a plus
- PMP certificate or 10+ years of project or program management experience
- 5+ Years of experience managing several concurrent projects under firm, fixed-price contracts
- Ability to manage projects with period of performance ranging from 3 months to 1 year
- Personable and team oriented
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
Helpful Skills
- Working knowledge of project accounting methods including the earned value management system (EVMS)
- Experience with aerospace, battery electrification, defense, electronics and/or robotics industries
- Experience with automated test equipment development projects using best-in-class COTS technologies
- Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems implementation and compliance
- Experience with state, federal, DOD and international regulations, including: RoHS, REACH, CE, EAR, ITAR, FAR, DFARS
- Experience with National Instruments (NI) hardware and software
Responsibilities
- Manage the scope of work, schedule, and budget of several firm, fixed-price and time and materials projects
- Interface and manage expectations among internal and external stakeholders
- Manage personnel and material resource needs weekly to ensure projects are completed on-schedule and on-budget
- Manage customer relationships and perform cost and schedule estimations for potential projects
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs, including contractual scope change requests to customers
- Proactively manage project risks and mitigation plans from start to successful deployment of deliverables
- Manage development, assembly and validation to ensure successful and efficient integration of the deliverables among engineering, purchasing, production and quality teams
- Promote, adhere and evolve Bloomy’s project management standards, policies and procedures as a member of the PMO
